Professor Anthony C Woodman(BSc (Hons), MSc (Dist), PhD)

As Chief Executive of ICRI Global Research, Professor Anthony Woodman is responsible with members of the senior executive team of the ICRI group for devising and developing the strategic direction of the organisation. Having collaborated with ICRI for almost two years he joined full-time as CEO on 8th October 2007 having spent over 20 years in research and education in the UK.
Anthony joined Cranfield University, UK in 1997 and in 2004 he became the UK’s first Professor of Translational Medicine. In this role, along with being Director of Education, Anthony was responsible for overseeing the research and taught master’s provision within Cranfield Health, and worked in collaboration with industry to develop and evaluate technologies which support Translational Medicine, as well as to the postgraduate education of tomorrows’ professionals in Medical Diagnostics and Translational Medicine. The core research focus of his research was the application of novel technologies to support the development and evaluation of new diagnostic and therapeutic modalities in the fields of infectious diseases, oncology and toxicology. To date his research has generated over 100 conference proceedings abstracts, 52 full papers in international journals and 2 book chapters and in May 2011 he was made an adjunct Professor within the Department of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, USA.

Dr. Reza Anari is the Associate Professor of Translational Medicine and the principal of the ICRI Centre for Life Sciences and Professional Management- the Singapore campus of ICRI Global Research. He obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) with a Clinical Pharmacy Internship from the Medical Science University of Mashhad in 1988, a M.Sc. in Pharmacology from Dalhousie University Faculty of Medicine in 1993, and a Ph.D. in Toxicology from University of Toronto Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy in 1997. Dr. Anari has been the recipient of several prestigious fellowships and awards from Dalhousie University, the Ontario College of Pharmacists, and the University of Toronto and constantly has published his original research works in high impact factor journals. After completing Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship under supervision of Professor Dean Frank Abbott at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Anari continued his interest in the field of Pharmaceutical Research by joining Pfizer and Merck in Pennsylvania and progressively advanced his career as a director and department head in a couple of biotechnology companies in the South San Francisco Bay area. Having gained more than 22 years of teaching and research experiences in the field of Pharmacokinetics and Drug Metabolism, Pharmacology/Toxicology, Metabolomics, Drug Discovery and Translational Medicine, Dr. Anari joined ICRI Global Research in January 2010 as an Associate professor and Assistant Coordinator of Master of Science in Clinical Research (MSCR) program, offered by the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).

Dr. Anoop Agarwal is the principal of Institute of Clinical Research(India), Delhi campus, India. He obtained his PhD in Pharmacology in 1988 from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India and worked as faculty in Dayanand Medical College, Christian Medical college, various clinical research Institutes and has a teaching experience of over 22 years in the field of pharmacology, toxicology and clinical research. He is has been actively involved with research, a life member of various scientific societies and has more than 40 publications to his credit. He has travelled far and wide and has presented research papers in several National and international conferences in India and abroad. He has been an examiner for several universities for medical, dental, physiotherapy and Nursing undergraduate and post graduate courses. He has also been an supervisor for MD (pharmacology) and ICMR student’s Projects. He had been an approved clinical research trainer by Cranfield university, UK and ACRP, USA.
